フォレスト・ガンプ／一期一会
1940年代、アラバマ州で生まれたフォレスト・ガンプは、知能指数こそ人に劣るが、母親にたっぷりの愛情を注がれて育ち、優しいハートと走る能力は誰にも負けない男性に成長していく。そんなフォレストは、ただひとり彼に理解を示してくれた幼なじみの女性ジェニーの愛を信じる一方、ベトナムの戦場に出征するなど、1950年代に始まるアメリカの歴史の大きな動きの中で、図らずも波瀾万丈の半生を送ることになる。
